Allana Southerland of The Fusion BandAllana Southerland (Leader) is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and is gifted in the smooth sound of the saxophone. Her style of jazz and new-soul vibe, with her group, The Fusion band, is synonymous with that of Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright and Najee. Allana has performed all over the country and shared the stage with such legends as Herbie Hancock, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, The Rippingtons, Lakeside, Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars, Bobby Brown, Dave Brubeck, Paul Jackson Jr., Norman Brown, Charlie Wilson, and many more. She has also performed for the Jacksonville Jazz festival.

This one-of-a-kind artist also graduated from the University of North Florida, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies, as the only female saxophonist in the Jazz Studies program, studies Jazz Theory and Jazz Arranging, and was on the Dean's List, a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and held an office in Sigma Alpha Iota, a music sorority. Allana also teaches the sax, clarinet, flute and piano. Allana is currently working on her Master's degree in Education. She hopes to encourage young people especially young women to follow their dreams even if it means getting into a male dominated field, they should just go for it.

Michael Norwood of The Fusion BandMichael Norwood is a bassist born in Central Mississippi. He's only been playing the bass for a little over 2 years, but is becoming a much sought after talent....playing for a number of bands and at events in and around the Jacksonville area as well as abroad. He's a member of New Covenant Ministries of Orange Park and plays full time for the church's band. He is currently endorsed by Windmill Basses which is a German bass company. Michael has also played for national recording artist Lisa McClendon where he served as her music director. He now currently plays for Urban Gospel artist of the year 2006 Leon "Timbo" Seymour, where he is currently serving as his music director. Michael has also help direct several live DVD recordings with both McClendon and Seymour at Boomtown located in Jacksonville, Florida. Michael is now currently the bassist for The Fusion Band. He have also shared the stage with several well known artists such as Norman Brown, Karen Clarke-Sheard, Marcus Miller, Herbie Hancock, The Rippingtons just to name a few. He also served as the bassist for the Almond Group Tour featuring Rickey Smiley. Beside the bass, Michael also is a drummer by nature and plays both the acoustic and electric guitars. Michael is also part of Verity Records writing team. He currently has two songs on Lisa McClendon's latest album "Live from The House of Blues - New Orleans" where he helped co-write these two songs along with Lisa and Timbo Seymour. Michael is a very ambitious artist who is looking for great things in life as well as music.

John Prince of The Fusion BandJohn Prince was raised in a little town called St. George, South Carolina. He started playing drums in church at 9 years old. John has played for Kiki Sheard and Bishop G. E. Patterson. He has also opened for Herbie Hancock, Pamela Williams, Norman Brown, Keith Sweat, Charlie Wilson, Freeway, Karen Clark-Sheard, and The Rippingtons. In 2005, John had the pleasure of playing for Bishop T.D. Jakes. John has become one of the most sought after drummers in the Southeast region.
