The Flavor of C1 Jazz is an original smooth Jazz sound that blends Gospel, Latin, R & B, Funk and Blues.
C1 Jazz is a delightful mix of gifted musicians who came together for the purpose of creating smooth sounds and making people groove.
On May 4, 2005, four men came together lead by Ron Williams to give their first performance at a charity event. The band became in demand and as a result C1 Jazz was born.

Jazz singer, Dot Wilder, has developed a unique style of jazz vocals. Her influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and Abbey Lincoln, but her innovative sound and style have taken jazz to a new level.
She and the artists with whom she performs have developed a wide range of expressions which include an imaginative method of infusing fresh new ideas into traditional and contemporary styles. Occasionally she inserts her own original material.

Versatile violinist, vocalist, and songwriter Rebecca Zapen's first musical memory was that of sitting under the baby grand piano as a toddler, her ears filled by the sounds of her mother playing Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart. Her college years were filled with opera, orchestra, chamber music, and late night jazz jams. The journey continued to twist and unfold, rich in varied musical experiences: Tom Waits tunes via CB radio and Celtic harp, a four-year trip to the Old World in Klezmania, spoken word with eclectic folk, Gypsy jazz.

Stevie, a pro keyboardist and vocalist, is the leader of a project he calls Sho-Nuff. This is a culmination of years of backing up such pros in the business as former James Brown band member Teddy Washington, country legend Roger Martin, and a favorite sit in at Chicago’s Kingston Mines blues club. He is joined by Mike Tillis on drums, and Eric Herrin on guitar and vocals.

Allana Southerland (Leader) is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and is gifted in the smooth sound of the saxophone. Her style of jazz and new-soul vibe, with her group, The Fusion band, is synonymous with that of Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright and Najee. Allana has performed all over the country and shared the stage with such legends as Herbie Hancock, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, The Rippingtons, Lakeside, Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars, Bobby Brown, Dave Brubeck, Paul Jackson Jr., Norman Brown, Charlie Wilson, and many more. She has also performed for the Jacksonville Jazz festival.
