The Flavor of C1 Jazz is an original smooth Jazz sound that blends Gospel, Latin, R & B, Funk and Blues.
C1 Jazz is a delightful mix of gifted musicians who came together for the purpose of creating smooth sounds and making people groove.
On May 4, 2005, four men came together lead by Ron Williams to give their first performance at a charity event. The band became in demand and as a result C1 Jazz was born.
Ron Williams heads the band as the lead guitarist. Keyboardist Carlos Peterson directs the music. Willie Chanbliss holds down the beat as the drummer. Jesse Reyes lays down the bottom on bass and the fifth additions is the golden voice of Michael "The Bishop" Stephens on sax.

I just wanted to drop a quick note and tell that James and Sylvia were phenomenal Thursday! I just wish I had more residents up and interested in coming! There were more staff than residents that attended. We were having such a great time! The two of them are very engaging and entertaining,… not to mention the talent! I was 100% pleased. I will definitely book them again in the future and I highly recommend them! I can’t thank you enough for finding them and making this a very special day for us.― Lindsay in Jacksonville, FL
Stevie, a pro keyboardist and vocalist, is the leader of a project he calls Sho-Nuff. This is a culmination of years of backing up such pros in the business as former James Brown band member Teddy Washington, country legend Roger Martin, and a favorite sit in at Chicago’s Kingston Mines blues club. He is joined by Mike Tillis on drums, and Eric Herrin on guitar and vocals.
The focus of this group is to play rock, blues, blues rock, jazz, funk, and country music with a flair to entertain. We promise that there is no one in the business that can truly play “everything” like we can. All three musicians are virtuoso players with a lot of road time. In fact, Stevie and Eric hold bachelor degrees in music.
Always fun and professional, this versatile band is a pleasure to work with in any club or private event setting.
